Softball Recap: Lower Moreland Comes Up Short

Lower Moreland was the 13-3 winner over New Hope-Solebury when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Lower Moreland came up short against New Hope-Solebury on Tuesday, falling 16-1. Lower Moreland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lower Moreland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Menchhofer, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lower Moreland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New Hope-Solebury, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lower Moreland will face off against rival William Tennent at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hope-Solebury is set to challenge their familiar foe Cheltenham at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
