Culver Academies never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Argos Dragons as they made off with a 21-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won eight in a row.

Jack Kaplan made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Ty Rakan was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Cole Meiser also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Culver Academies always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Argos only posted an OBP of .118.

Culver Academies' victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Argos, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Looking ahead, Culver Academies will face off against Triton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Argos, they will take on Oregon-Davis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
