Volleyball Recap: E.L. Haynes Comes Up Short

E.L. Haynes and National Cathedral squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but E.L. Haynes had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to National Cathedral. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss E.L. Haynes has suffered since October 29, 2024.

Leading National Cathedral to victory were Claire Kennedy and Amanda Yeboah-Afari. Kennedy had 11 digs and seven assists, while Yeboah-Afari had four assists. Kennedy has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

E.L. Haynes' defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for National Cathedral, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5-1.
