Volleyball Recap: R-S Central Comes Up Short

If R-S Central was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Caldwell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Patton Panthers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Hilltoppers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, R-S Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cam Johnson had 13 digs and two assists.

R-S Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Patton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

R-S Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Patton, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Draughn on the 15th.
