Soccer Game Preview: Porter Ridge vs. Butler + How To Watch

The Porter Ridge Pirates will take on the Butler Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, Porter Ridge and Weddington finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw.

The Pirates hit the Warriors with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Cuenca, Tyler Searcy, and Sammy Tello.

Meanwhile, Butler fell victim to Chambers and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. One reason for the loss might be Butler's aggressive play style: three Butler players were handed yellow cards.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. Porter Ridge's draw makes their record 11-2-2 this season.

Porter Ridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Butler in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
