Meadowbrook Academy extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 11-2. They put the hurt on the Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

MADISON SUMNER paced Meadowbrook Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. SUMNER got some help from IVA FEARON and her 22 assists. ELIZABETH MARSHALL controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Peniel Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Allie Peacock, who had six digs and one block.

Meadowbrook Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Belleview on the 11th. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hawthorne on the 9th.
