After soaring to six goals the game before, Rocky Mount was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the Franklin Academy Patriots. Rocky Mount were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Rocky Mount's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Franklin Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Rocky Mount wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against John Paul II Catholic on the 23rd. As for Franklin Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Roxboro Community on the 25th.
