While Pewamo-Westphalia might've come up empty on Saturday, Trey Nurenberg wasn't going down without a fight. Nurenberg struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk), which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks.

Coming up, Nurenberg and Pewamo-Westphalia are taking a road trip to face off against Saranac at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redhawks will enter the matchup having just beaten Perry, so the Pirates will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
