Bold predictions in college football recruiting for National Signing Day 2010.
Think there's no such thing as a sure thing in recruiting?
Well, you're probably right.
High school kids can be fickle creatures. However, with less than 24 hours remaining until National Signing Day, here are 20 bold predictions that MaxPreps.com National Football Editor Stephen Spiewak thinks you can take to the bank.

1. Markeith Ambles and Da'Rick Rogers will both go to Tennessee, and that will be the top wide receiver duo of any class, save for USC's Kyle Prater and Robert Woods.
2. Under the tutelage of the
Iowa coaching staff,
Andrew Donnal will be a top-five offensive lineman by the time he's a senior.
3. Florida will land at least one more significant recruit and will reclaim the No. 1 team ranking from Texas.
4. When the dust settles,
Latwan Anderson will be in Columbus next fall.
5. Scotty Young will be the next great quarterback at
Texas Tech.
6. Purdue will start to reap the benefits of improved recruiting efforts in Florida; receiver
O.J. Ross will contribute as a freshman.
7. In three years,
Alabama will have the best secondary in the country.
8. Shon Coleman and
Damien Robinson will play for different teams; neither will be
Ole Miss.
9. Marcus Lattimore will stay local and play for
South Carolina; he'll score a touchdown in the team's 2010 season opener against Southern Miss.
10. Texas A&M will start at least one freshman on its offensive line in 2010.

11. As good as
Jackson Jeffcoat,
Ronald Powell and
William Gholston are, no defensive end in the class of 2010 will be better than 2011 standout
Jadeveon Clowney.
12. Playing for
Penn State,
Silas Redd will be the top freshman running back in the Big Ten next season.
13. Florida State will have the strongest finish of any team and make a run for the top 10.
14. LSU's 2011 recruiting class will be superior to an outstanding 2010 class that currently ranks No. 7.
15. Matt James will continue the trend of
Notre Dame landing top talent from Midwest Catholic schools; he'll join teammate
Luke Massa, and fellow Cincinnati Catholic school stars
Andrew Hendrix and
Alex Welch.
16. UCLA will land at least one of the following (and possibly two):
Dietrich Riley,
Anthony Jefferson and
Owamagbe Odighizuwa.
17. Boise State will sign a small class with players you've never heard of, but continue to win.
Matt Miller will emerge as a star.
18. Years from now,
Pitt's class will be viewed as extremely underrated, particularly on defense.
T.J Clemmings and
Bryan Murphy will develop into two of the Big East's top pass-rushers.
19. No quarterback ranked in the top 100 will contribute anything significant in 2010. However, there will undoubtedly be a sleeper that emerges from outside the top of the rankings that makes noise early in his career.
20. Seantrel Henderson will be a Buckeye.
