Washburn won the last time they faced Cosby and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Washburn is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Cosby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21-1.
