Basketball Recap: Paola Takes a Loss

Paola lost against Wellsville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Paola Panthers fell 59-47 to the Wellsville Eagles.

Paola dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wellsville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paola will take on Ottawa in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wellsville and Osawatomie will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
