Scott gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Sissonville Indians 3-2. Max Hatfield had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Scott got from the refs.

Colin Williamson and Lukas Maynard scored all three of Scott's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Scott didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Chapmanville Regional on the 23rd. As for Sissonville, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
