Baseball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greyhounds of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Landen Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Marissa/Coulterville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

While Lebanon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
