Football Game Preview: Camden-Frontier Redskins vs. Britton Deerfield Patriots

The Camden-Frontier Redskins will head out to face off against the Britton Deerfield Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Camden-Frontier will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against North Adams-Jerome on Friday. The Redskins simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rams 62-20. The Redskins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Britton Deerfield had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed past the Bobcats to the tune of 65-8. With the Patriots ahead 52-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Britton Deerfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Camden-Frontier, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Camden-Frontier was dealt a bruising 50-0 defeat at the hands of Britton Deerfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Redskins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
