East Central won the last time they faced Batesville and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 20-0 shutout. That looming 20-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Paige Hotze was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
