It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farwell can now relate to. They fell just short of the Martins Mill Mustangs by a score of 43-41 on Thursday. The Steers' defeat signaled the end of their 19-game winning streak.

Farwell lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Landri Richey, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Jaime, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Farwell's loss dropped their record down to 35-4. As for Martins Mill, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 35-2.
