Baseball Recap: Bayou Academy Takes a Loss

Bayou Academy pushed their score to ten the last time they played North Delta, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Bayou Academy Colts fell just short of the North Delta Green Wave by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Colts couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ryan Mallette made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Bayou Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Delta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bayou Academy will take on Winston Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winston Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for North Delta, they will challenge Lake Cormorant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Delta also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 7 runs per game.
