It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gainesville had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Kemp Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. Gainesville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Erick Ramirez and Cesar De La Rosa scored all three of Gainesville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Gainesville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten matches. Kemp's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-3.

Looking ahead, Gainesville will square off against A Plus Academy on Monday. Kemp does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
