Volleyball Recap: Providence Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Providence was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ballantyne Ridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Hayley Rollar, who had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests. Izabella Tyrrell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Ardrey Kell, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Providence will be taking part in a tournament against Ballantyne Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ardrey Kell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
