Southwest extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Hardin-Central Bulldogs and fell 82-50. On the bright side, the 50- point effort marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Hardin-Central, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. They haven't had any issues with Southwest recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Hardin-Central was led to victory by Collin Lyon and Sam Barnett. Lyon went 11-for-18 to rack up 23 points along with seven assists and seven boards, while Barnett dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Barnett now owns an excellent 46.2% shooting accuracy. Kaden Mcginnis was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Coming up, Southwest will host Norborne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin-Central, they will be playing at home against Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
