Baseball Recap: Pennridge Gets the Win

While Pennridge put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Quakertown. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Panthers 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Brayden Robinson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Pennridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JP Colon, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Pennridge's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Quakertown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.

Coming up, Pennridge will take on Dock Mennonite at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 2.6, the Pioneers 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Quakertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
