Baseball Recap: Ripley Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Ripley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.17 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 19-11 margin over the Tupelo Tigers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Tupelo, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-3.

Coming up, Ripley will square off against Atoka at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Ripley is facing Atoka at the right time seeing as Atoka is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tupelo, they will take on Allen at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
