Baseball Game Preview: Auburn Trojans vs. Stadium Tigers

The Auburn Trojans will take on the Stadium Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Auburn's offense. They came up short against Lake Washington on Saturday, falling 11-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Stadium came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Silas on Friday.

Ethan West looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Luca Dossetti was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Raider Pula was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Stadium, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.
