Soccer Game Preview: Logan vs. Westerville South

The Logan Chieftains will venture away from home to square off against the Westerville South Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Logan will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Fairfield Union, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Chieftains' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 1-0 shutout on Monday.

Meanwhile, Westerville South had just enough and edged out Johnstown-Monroe 1-0 on Saturday. Westerville South haven't had any issues with Johnstown-Monroe recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Westerville South now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Logan beat Westerville South by a goal when the teams last played back in August of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
