Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Central). They blew past Gorham Fayette 10-4 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for North Central as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Kade Stewart was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.
