Basketball Recap: Camron Gorrell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Buhl over Filer

Buhl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 69-47 to the Filer Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-47 two weeks ago.

Buhl's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camron Gorrell, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points. Gorrell is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tate Trevino, who posted 12 points.

Buhl's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Filer, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Buhl has already played their next match, a 47-33 defeat against Gooding on the 7th. As for Filer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-64 loss against Kimberly on the 11th.
