Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Takes a Loss

Lake Holcombe lost against Birchwood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Holcombe Chieftains lost 76-55 to the Birchwood Bobcats. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Holcombe's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Birchwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Lake Holcombe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-44 defeat against Clayton on the 4th. Birchwood has also already played their next game, a 56-55 loss against Drummond on the 3rd.
