Volleyball Recap: Morro Bay Comes Up Short

Morro Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hoover Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Friday.

Morro Bay's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hoover, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Morro Bay will be taking part in a tournament against Reedley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoover, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Parlier at 4:00 p.m.
