Football Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Arlington Lions lost to the Colton Yellowjackets at home by a 41-26 margin on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Koa Regalado, who threw for 386 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 16.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 50 yards for Colton. Those 386 passing yards gave Regalado a new career-high. Colton's leading receiver Kalvin Leon was Regalado's top target yet again, picking up 171 receiving yards and one score.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Colton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Lions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Colton, they will challenge Jurupa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
