Washburn won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Washburn Millers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Roosevelt Teddies 50-14. The Millers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  contests by 20  points or more this season.
 Despite the loss, Roosevelt still got an impressive performance from   Natalie Martinez, who  posted six points. The dominant performance also gave  Martinez a new career-high in  assists (two).
Washburn pushed their record up to 11-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Roosevelt, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost ten of their last 11 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record  this season.
 Washburn will head out to  square off against Edison  at 7:00  p.m.  on Sunday. As for Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  63-21  win against Hiawatha Collegiate on the 1st.
