Football Recap: South Prairie/Max Takes a Loss

South Prairie/Max was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Bishop Ryan Lions, falling 62-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Prairie/Max of the 48-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

South Prairie/Max's record is now 0-7. As for Bishop Ryan, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, South Prairie/Max will face off against Tioga on Friday. South Prairie/Max will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bishop Ryan, they will take on Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose on Friday. Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bishop Ryan surely won't give up without a fight.
