Volleyball Recap: High Plains Comes Up Short

High Plains was the 2-1 winner over Red Cloud when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Saturday.

Rylee Hofmann paced High Plains' offense, picking up four kills. Hofmann got some help from Gahvi Lesiak and her eight assists.

High Plains' loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Red Cloud, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

High Plains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against McCool Junction on the 30th. As for Red Cloud, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Alma on the 30th.
