Basketball Recap: Benson Takes a Loss

Benson lost against Columbus back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Benson Bunnies received a blow as they fell 48-32 to the Columbus Discoverers. The Bunnies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benson's record now sits at 6-13. As for Columbus, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benson will venture away from home to take on Papillion-LaVista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Papillion-LaVista's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Columbus, they are taking a road trip to face off against Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus is facing Burke at the right time seeing as Burke is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
