Football Game Preview: Greene County Wildcats vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

The Greene County Wildcats will challenge the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Greene County lost to Pass Christian at home by a 28-14 margin. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Gage Stinson and Paris Trivillion. Trivillion had a great game and rushed for 185 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Meanwhile, Stinson did his best for the losing side, rushing for 25 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 149 yards on ten of 15 attempts.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Presbyterian Christian). They blew past St. Patrick 36-0 on Friday. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 239th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Presbyterian Christian's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. As for Greene County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-2.
