Softball Game Preview: Cole Cougars vs. Randolph Ro-Hawks

Cole is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Randolph a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Cole Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Randolph Ro-Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cole came up short against Poteet on Tuesday, falling 18-3.

Analey Navarro was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Jourdanton hit Randolph with a 11-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ro-Hawks lost 15-1 to the Indians/Squaws.

Cole's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Randolph's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cole hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .377. It's a different story for Randolph, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Cole's hitters?
