Baseball Recap: Carmi-White County Bulldogs vs. Waltonville Spartans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DuQuoin, Carmi-White County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Waltonville Spartans by a score of 6-2.

Travor Mason made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mason was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Caleb Seibers was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last four games he's played. Trayton Vickers was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.

Carmi-White County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Waltonville, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
