Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Gets the Win

Kimberly won the last time they faced Wauwatosa East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Papermakers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Raiders, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Papermakers.

Alex Krause paced Kimberly's offense, picking up 12 kills. Krause got some help from Blake Zielinski and his 23 assists. Zielinski also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Will Vander Loop, racking up two apiece.

Kimberly now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Kimberly and Wauwatosa East will both be playing Waukesha West the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Wolverines at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Papermakers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
