Volleyball Recap: St. John's Prep Falls Despite Big Games from Blake Williams and Matthew Mendoza

If St. John's Prep was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of La Salle Institute last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Storm came up short against the Christ the King Royals on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Red Storm's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-21.

Matthew Mendoza and Blake Williams certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mendoza had 15 digs and two aces, while Williams had two aces.

St. John's Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
