Baseball Recap: Hancock Victorious

Hancock got themselves on the board against West Harrison on Friday, but West Harrison never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Hurricanes 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Not much got past Brandon Arcement, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep West Harrison off the board. Arcement also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hancock is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-10 otherwise.

Hancock's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for West Harrison, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hancock beat the Hurricanes by a score of 6-4 on Saturday.
