Basketball Recap: Wright City Piles Up the Points Against Santa Fe South

A well-balanced attack led Wright City over Santa Fe South in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wright City Lumberjax blew the Santa Fe South Saints out of the water with a 75-22 final score. The Lumberjax have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Kase Lindly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 for 19 en route to 29 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Wright City's points. Another player making a difference was Maddox Replogle, who posted seven points in addition to 11 boards and three steals.

Wright City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Wright City pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Santa Fe South, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Wright City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-31 win against Dibble on the 10th. Santa Fe South has also already played their next matchup, a 60-40 loss against Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool on the 14th.
