Softball Recap: Rice Consolidated Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Rice Consolidated's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Tidehaven Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Rice Consolidated saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexia Rangel, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Rice Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Tidehaven, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Rice Consolidated has already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Columbus on the 8th. As for Tidehaven, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-3 victory against Palacios on the 8th.
