Recap: Scott's Branch Eagles vs. Manning Monarchs
The Scott's Branch Eagles lost against the Manning Monarchs last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Scott's Branch took a hard 55-41 fall against Manning. Scott's Branch has not had much luck with Manning recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Scott's Branch still got an impressive performance from Jordan Kind, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals. Kind scored a full 29.3% of Scott's Branch's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Nyren Bowman, who scored 7 points.
Scott's Branch's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Manning, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott's Branch will take on Bethune-Bowman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Bethune-Bowman is ranked 128th, while Scott's Branch is ranked 133rd). As for Manning, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crestwood at 7:30 p.m. Crestwood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
