Softball Recap: Cottage Hill Christian Academy's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cottage Hill Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 19-3. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Paislei Daughtery was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Cottage Hill Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Madison Brown, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those four runs gave Brown a new career-high. Lallie Hays was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Cottage Hill Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Booker T. Washington only managed four hits.
