Soccer Game Preview: Hickory vs. North East

The Hickory Hornets will square off against the North East Grape Pickers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hickory's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Fairview.

Meanwhile, North East had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Royals as they made off with a 4-1 victory. That's two games straight that North East have won by exactly three goals.

Hickory's win bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for North East, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
