Basketball Game Preview: Seacrest Country Day Stingrays vs. The Village School of Naples Knights

The Seacrest Country Day Stingrays will face off against The Village School of Naples Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Seacrest Country Day didn't have too much trouble with Southwest Florida Christian as they won 76-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stingrays.

Seacrest Country Day's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fedor Vuksanovic, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. Ethan Bates was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine assists.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and The Village School of Naples had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 56-45 victory over Everglades City on Monday.

Seacrest Country Day is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for The Village School of Naples, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.
