Murray County entered their tilt with Fannin County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. The Indians came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rebels. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Jordyn Farmer paced Murray County's offense, picking up seven kills. Farmer got some help from Braylie Wimberly and her six assists. Katherine Stone and Kabela Ingle kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Fannin County's loss came despite strong showings from Maddie Partin and Taber Pass. Partin had 11 digs and four aces, while Pass had 11 digs and two aces. Amberly Patterson was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.
