Softball Recap: Prairie Grove Takes a Loss

Prairie Grove and Monticello squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Prairie Grove had to settle for second. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billies. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Ivey Sparkman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Prairie Grove now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Monticello, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

As of now, neither Prairie Grove nor the Billies have any future games scheduled.
