Recap: Tomball Memorial Wildcats vs. Klein Cain Hurricanes
Even though the Klein Cain Hurricanes scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Tomball Memorial Wildcats still came out on top. Tomball Memorial took their matchup against Klein Cain 62-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tomball Memorial.
Klein Cain lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Delgado, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of John Clark, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Tomball Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Klein Cain, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11.
Tomball Memorial will head out on the road to square off against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Klein Cain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Klein at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klein has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
