Basketball Recap: Springville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Springville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-46 margin over the Starmont Stars. The Orioles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stars, too.

Springville's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Starmont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Springville will be home for the holidays to greet Alburnett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Springville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Alburnett likes a good challenge. Starmont and Edgewood-Colesburg will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
