Softball Recap: Salmon Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Salmon's offense. They came up short against the Gooding Senators on Saturday, falling 26-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Savages' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Salmon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Gooding, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

While Salmon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
